**പേരാമ്പ്ര : **കുറ്റ്യാടി-കോഴിക്കോട് റോഡില്‍ കടിയങ്ങാട് വില്ലേജ് ഓഫീസിന് മുമ്പില്‍ ഇന്നലെ ഓടികൊണ്ടിരിന്ന വാഹനം ടയര്‍ പൊട്ടി നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് വൈദ്യുതി പോസ്റ്റിലിടിച്ചു.

സമീപത്തെ കടയുടെ സ്റ്റെപ്പില്‍ തട്ടി നിന്നതിനാല്‍ വന്‍ ദുരന്തം ഒഴിവായി. ഇടിയുടെ അഘാതത്തില്‍ പോസ്റ്റ് തകര്‍ന്നു വൈദ്യുതി ബന്ധം നിലച്ചു. സമീപത്തെ മൊബൈല്‍ ടവര്‍ ലൊക്കേഷന്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്ഫോമറിലേക്കുള്ള 11കെവി ലൈനാണ് തകര്‍ന്നത്.

വാഹനത്തില്‍ വയനാട് സ്വദേശികളായിരുന്നു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. കാറിലുള്ളവര്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് ഇഖ്‌റ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലില്‍ ഡോക്ടറെ കണ്ടു വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു ഇരുവരും അത്ഭുതകരമായി പരിക്കേല്‍ക്കാതെ രക്ഷപെട്ടു.
