ആശാരി കണ്ടി വാഴയിൽ മീത്തൽ  ഗംഗാധരന്റെ മകന്‍ യദു (24) വിനെയാണ് കാണാതായത്. രാത്രി 10.30 യോടെ ജോലി കഴിഞ്ഞ് വരവെ മാമ്പള്ളി ഭാഗത്ത് കനാലിൻ്റെ അക്വഡേറ്റിലേക്ക് ചാടുകയായിരുന്നു.

സുഹൃത്തുക്കളോട് നീന്തി മറുകരയിലെത്താമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ യദു മറുഭാഗത്ത് എത്തിയില്ല നാട്ടുകാരും പൊലീസും ചേർന്ന് തെരച്ചിൽ നടത്തിയെങ്കിലും കണ്ടെത്താനായില്ല.
