**കോഴിക്കോട് :** നിപ വൈറസ് ബാധിച്ച് കോഴിക്കോട് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന മലപ്പുറം പാണ്ടിക്കാട് പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ചെന്പ്രശേരി സ്വദേശിയായ14 കാരന്‍ മരിച്ചു.

ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ 11.30 തോടുകൂടി മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജില്‍ വെച്ചാണ് മരണം. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ 15-ാം തീയതി മുതല്‍ രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ട കുട്ടിയെ ആദ്യം പാണ്ടിക്കാട്ടെ ക്ലിനിക്കിലും പിന്നീട് രണ്ട് സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളിലും പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷമാണ് കോഴിക്കോട് മിംസ് ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചത്.

നിപ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതിന് പിന്നാലെ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. 14 കാരനുമായി സമ്പര്‍ക്കം ഉണ്ടായ ഒരാള്‍ക്കും രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങളുണ്ട്.
