**കോഴിക്കോട്:** മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളെജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രസവത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്നു ചികില്‍സയിലായിരുന്ന യുവതി മരിച്ചു. പുനൂര്‍ പള്ളിത്തായത്ത് ബാസിത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യ ഷഹാന ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

പ്രസവത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്നുള്ള രക്തസ്രാവത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ തീവ്രപരിചരണ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയോടെ മരണമരണത്തിന് കീഴടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു.
