**കക്കയം: **മഴ ശക്തമായതോടെ കക്കയം ഡാമിലെ ജലനിരപ്പ് ക്രമേണ ഉയര്‍ന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ കക്കയം ഡാമിന്റെ രണ്ട് ഷട്ടറും ഉയര്‍ത്തി.

കക്കയം ഡാമിന്റെ രണ്ട് ഗേറ്റുകളും ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ 9:30 ന് 15 സെന്റിമീറ്റര്‍ വീതമാണ് ഉയര്‍ത്തിയത്.

26 ക്യൂബിക് മീറ്റര്‍/ സെക്കന്റ് വെള്ളമാണ് ഒഴുക്കി വിടുന്നത്. കുറ്റ്യാടി പുഴയുടെ തീരങ്ങളിലുള്ളവര്‍ ജാഗ്രതാ പാലിക്കണമെന്ന് ജില്ല കലക്ടര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
