**കൂട്ടാലിട : **ആസാദി കാ അമൃത് മഹോത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ചെങ്ങോടുമല സമര സമിതിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ചെങ്ങോടുമലയുടെ ഭാഗമായ ജില്ലയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയര്‍ന്ന വേയപ്പാറയില്‍ ദേശീയ പതാക ഉയര്‍ത്തി.

രാജ്യം 75ാം സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ ദിനമാചരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ചെങ്ങോടുമലയും ക്വാറി മാഫിയയില്‍ നിന്നും സ്വതന്ത്രമായത് ആഘോഷിക്കാനാണ് സമരഭടന്‍മാര്‍ വേയപ്പാറയില്‍ അതിസാഹസികമായി പതാക ഉയര്‍ക്കിയത്. കല്പകശ്ശേരി ജയരാജന്‍, ലിനീഷ് നരയംകുളം, മംഗലശ്ശേരി ജിതേഷ് കുമാര്‍, ആയാട്ട് ബിജു എന്നിവര്‍ നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി.
