സംസ്ഥാനത്തുടനീളം പോപുലര്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട് നേതാക്കളുടെ വീടുകളിലും ഓഫീസുകളിലും എന്‍ ഐ എയും ഇ.ഡിയും ചേര്‍ന്ന് നടത്തിയ റെയ്ഡിലും നേതാക്കളെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തതിലും പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചാണ് പോപുലര്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ പയ്യോളിയില്‍ ദേശീയപാത ഉപരോധിച്ചത്.
