**മേപ്പയൂര്‍:** ശ്രീകണ്ഠീമനശാലാ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ രാമായണ മാസാചരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഏകദിന രാമായണ പാരായണ യജ്ഞം നടത്തി. മേല്‍ശാന്തി മൊളേരി ഇല്ലത്ത് സന്ദീപ് നമ്പൂതിരി ഭദ്രദീപം കൊളുത്തി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

അധ്യാത്മരാമായണം ഒറ്റ ദിവസം കൊണ്ട് പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായി പാരായണം ചെയ്ത പരിപാടിയില്‍ നിരവധി ഭക്തജനങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കാളികളായി. തെക്കുമ്പാട്ട് രാജന്‍, എ.എം. ഗോവിന്ദന്‍, ടി. നാരായണന്‍, പി. ജയാനന്ദന്‍, യശോദ മാരസ്യാര്‍ തീര്‍ത്ഥം എന്നിവര്‍ നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി.

രാമായണ പ്രശ്‌നോത്തരിയില്‍ മുതിര്‍ന്നവരുടെ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ ഷാനി ദേവദാസ് തച്ചൂടയും കുട്ടികളുടെ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ ഡി.എസ് വൈഗാലക്ഷ്മിയും ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം നേടി.
