കൂരാച്ചുണ്ട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ഓരോ വര്‍ഷത്തിലെയും മികച്ച കായിക താരത്തിന് യൂത്ത് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് കൂരാച്ചുണ്ട് മണ്ഡലം കമ്മിറ്റി നല്‍കി വരുന്ന രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി എക്‌സലന്റ് അവാര്‍ഡിനാണ് അര്‍ജുന്‍ ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍ അര്‍ഹനായത്.

കൂരാച്ചുണ്ട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ്  പോളി കാരക്കട പുരസ്‌കാരം അര്‍ജുന്‍ ബാലകൃഷ്ണന് കൈമാറി.

2022-23 വര്‍ഷത്തെ സന്തോഷ് ട്രോഫി ഫുട്ബോള്‍ ടൂര്‍ണമെന്റില്‍ കേരള ടീമിനായി ബൂട്ട് അണിഞ്ഞ അര്‍ജുന്‍, ടൂര്‍ണമെന്റില്‍ കേരളത്തിനായി ഗോള്‍ സ്‌കോര്‍ ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
