**കായണ്ണ:** മുന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മന്‍ചാണ്ടിയുടെ ഒന്നാം ചരമ വാര്‍ഷിക ദിനം കായണ്ണ മണ്ഡലം കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ആചരിച്ചു.

രാവിലെ കായണ്ണ ബസാറില്‍ നടന്ന പുഷ്പാര്‍ച്ചനയില്‍ മണ്ഡലം പ്രസിഡണ്ട് പൊയില്‍ വിജയന്‍, എം.വി മൊയ്തീ, സി.പി ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍, സി.കെ ബിജു, എന്‍ ചന്ദ്രന്‍, പി.സി പ്രത്യുഷ് എന്നിവര്‍ നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി.

കായണ്ണ മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ മണി കുലുക്കി താഴെ, മൊട്ടന്‍തറ, ചെറുകാട് അനുസ്മൃത യോഗം നടന്നു.
